Backing the Blue

Lonnie Sims knows that to attract and retain top-quality law enforcement officers, we must invest in those who are sworn to protect and serve. Lonnie will work tirelessly to make sure our law enforcement community has the resources they need to get the job done.

Lonnie is a proven conservative champion we can count on to provide the resources that ensure our law enforcement officers have the tools they need to keep us safe. He was honored to receive the Oklahoma Sheriff Association’s legislative award in 2023.

A 2023 Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association Legislative Award recipient, no one will work harder to make Tulsa County a safer place to live, work, and raise a family.

“Lonnie Sims always supports law enforcement and backs the blue! He works hard, stands strong, and has integrity. He will make a great County Commissioner.”
-Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado

A Fighter for Border Security

Lonnie has worked tirelessly in the legislature to prevent state benefits for illegal aliens, and he’ll partner with the Tulsa County Sheriff to crack down on illegals in our community.

Lonnie has seen first hand how bad of a mess the Southern Border is, and he will work to protect American soverignty and keep Tulsa County families safe and secure.

In the fall of 2023, Lonnie joined a team of Oklahoma legislators visiting the southern border with the Federation for American Immigration Reform in McAllen, Texas. While in the field with US Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety officers, Lonnie was excited to find K.B., an Oklahoman and Jenks Public School graduate, serving as the current Executive VP of the Texas Border Volunteers. Since 2006, K.B. and his fellow volunteers have put themselves at great risk to assist law enforcement officials in securing the border, protecting local landowners and educating the public.
