Conservative Ready Day One

Lonnie has volunteered locally for many years in both elected and non-elected capacities, as President of his neighborhood association, Planning Commissioner, Jenks City Councilor, Mayor of Jenks from 2013-2015, and founding board member for James Mission, a nonprofit dedicated to the support of foster children, widows, and at-risk families in northeast Oklahoma.

Lonnie’s experience and service on top of regional authorities is also wide-ranging. This includes the Tulsa Vision Authority, Cities United, and the Arkansas River Task Force, which successfully developed the first river plan in over 60 years, paving the way for two future low-water dams (“water in the river”), along with the Turkey Mountain Trail and Wilderness Area improvements. Lonnie currently serves on the Indian Nation Council of Governments (INCOG) Board of Directors, working to secure funding and grants for key infrastructure projects like the Gilcrease Expressway, as well as improving local economic development, healthcare, services for aging populations, and rural land use planning support.
